Oo yeh, forgot on the features list, added those 2 marshalls in front of the "Potenza" sign (which I lowered ;)) in the second shot down :)

Just a question concerning the new bollards:
Is it an object like the adboards which you can drive through, or is it even possible to get dammage when hiting them, for example to loose front wing or tyre?

is this great track update released yet?

At the moments its a dive through. I could put on some collision detection, but I don't know how realistic it could be, I have an idea as to how to get a small amount of damage though :)

"is this great track update released yet?"

Not yet. Won't be long

Of corse I don't mind, it's done me a favour :) They look great!

Thanks :)

About the bollards, looks like we can't do collision detection, as the bollard is to small to be able to create an accurate mesh.

cant you create a really nasty kerb where the bollard is?

proably, but the track sectors are too long for the diameter of the bollard..

Hey Willb, I'll have a play around and see if I can sort out some kind of collision boundary for your bollards. I'll play around with another track (I haven't downloaded this one yet) and get back to you if I make any progress :)

It would seem the only way to create a proper collision for your bollards would be shift the rails in the .dat (which I imagine you aren't willing to do). Lo2K was right in that the .col doesn't store collision data, which is odd as it does set the behaviours for everything, such as rails. Therefore, the only thing I can suggest is shortening the rails to 0, and changing the "arm direction" to the position of your bollards.

i think its best i leave it. I may try to add a sharp kerb under the bollard and see what heppens.

Thanks for looking into it,

Regards

Wills
