Nahhh. thats an absurd amount for a gfx card. for about 190 pounds you can get the x800xl which performs almost as well as an x800xt/x850xt :) but if thats not good enough for you, for 290 you can even get the x800xt platinum edition which performs identically if not better to the x850xt :)

Wow great shot there lee but since when can you get a onboard shot in the tunnel as the reception signal is blocked :)

@Karan

I'm actually using the standard "Digital2004" font but i've increased the size to size 18pt where as the default was something like 12pt which was faaaaarrr to small for my liking :)

Though in my shot i just posted it's actually set on size 17pt but since then i have tried 18 and it looks better, only problem is that when ever a McLaren wins the "McLaren Mercedes" caption has trouble fitting inside the winner's banner.

Its ok in the standard position caption though

well then i,ll have to dig out some footage of in the tunnel,it has been shown before on tv,75% of the time the signal does go but it can be recorded..

@ karan19
----------

we discussed it yesterday and it is an absurd amount to pay for a card but its the card i wanted and i couldnt get it any cheaper at the time,im happy with it so whats the problem..

cool shot there sniper:)

@Lee

Ok fair enough, the only footage i've seen inside the tunnel onboard is with Michael Schumacher's Bennetton Renault from 1995 which was a nose mounted camera and a lap with Rubens Barrichello in a 2001 Ferrari

Other than that the signal always seems to go when its a live feed. Though as you say it probably can record somehow.

Another shot

@Lee

Yeah i thought the same thing with the lap with Rubens :) and thansk for the compliment :)

@Karen

Load up GPxPatch, no need to click on any of the other tabs as the area your looking for is on the main default tab.

You should see a button that says "edit fonts"

Cick on that and you should see another window come up with a list of fonts on the left and the options on the right,

Select "Digital 2004" on the left and then edit the font HEIGHT on the right hand side

hope you find the setting
