Title : Monaco circuit 2004
Author : Mark Beijer
=======================================================================
* About the circuit *
This circuit is based on Ricardo Lamperts monaco04_rl_lr_em_mv_V1.0.
Therefore a big thank you to him.
This is a beta-version; the circuit is not ready but comming up the 2005 race over 2 weeks,
i decided to publish it now. So i can continue on the 2005 circuit.
The plans are to frequently publish small updates for this circuit.
=======================================================================
* new on the circuit *
New pitlane, the boxes are now on the left side of the pitlane.
New pitbuildings.
New pitlane-exit; now your enter the track after the first corner.
New circuitpart; after the swimming pool to the Rascasse corner is totally new
New cc-line; from the beginning of the tunnel until the first corner.
New publicstands at the new circuit part
New trackbarriers following the 2004 original circuit.
New advertisment.
New jip mapping.
and many many more things.....
Building time; 6 months, most of the time learning about the editor and tracks,
so i hope new tracks will be ready faster than this one.
=======================================================================
* Installation *
Extract the zip-file.
Replace the original monaco2001.wad by this one in your gp4-files.
Put the S1ct07.dat-file in the circuit map.
Use Lo2K wadupdater to update the monaco2001.anm-file in yours anim-wad file.
=======================================================================
* known bugs*
- the cc-line is not perfect, there will be updates in future.
- the col-file has not been updated, this will give some trouble in rain-mode,
reflections of the cars and camera-views.
- driving to close to the barrier of the last corner before start-finish
will cause you to end up in the pitlane.
- leaving the pitlane, drive carefully through the first corner.
and many more bugs
=======================================================================
* Thank you to *
- Ricardo Lampert for using his circuit.
- Erwin Maliepaard for some of his pitstands
- my son Max (2 years old) for al his test work without knowing what he is doing.
- but the biggest thank you to Laurent Rousseau for his great tools, awnsering all my emails
and most of my questions and his friendship.
