its the way that the helmets mapped i think

yeh its the way its mapped day it streches the logos near that part a lot i get that alot when i make my own fantasy helmets

can you please send me all the hi res helmets 2001?

you could perhaps counteract the effect of stretching by compressing the dimensions of the west logo vertically so it might look normal on the helmet

and can i point out that they didn't use the HANS device in 2001 (or did they?)

HANS was new for 2003. [www.f1nutter.co.uk]

they didn't use the hans system but in game you don't see it so that's not a problem...

the helmets will not be available untill I've finished all of them. They belong to the mod from button14 and I. sorry...
