Intweb, 3 things that i've seen:

1. i still think that the chimney must be a bit more rounded

2. and the curve of the nose its a bit rare, you have to keep it better

3. and i dont know if it is because its the launch version, but the center of the front wing is much more plain, not as curved as you made...

Sincerely i like very much this car, ;·)

thanks intweb,

small feed back from me too, just check out the front wing color shining differently when compared to rear color of the car which marked in red color.

sorry if i am too nitpicking

Hi. intweb.
Your car is so great!!
But, black lines of alpha channel are very thick and very rough.
It looks that car is low quality in game.
I wish you fix the lines with next version.
Great car as always.
Thanks intweb. :)

Who says lightning doesn't strike twice???

I've update the FW27 launch version and this should be available in the coming hours as version 2. There were a number of upgrades on the car, see the txt file for the full list, but in summary :-

V2.00 - (29/3/2005) - Re-moulded front wing,
- New shading on front wing,
- Completely new chimnies,
- Minor texture adjustments,
- Updated rear diffuser,

Just a critic of the car for the Malaysian + Melbourne update concerning the front nose assembly as shown in the picture below:

Roughly in the middle of the nose assembly it seems to slightly go

\ /
| |
| |

whereas in your version it seems to be just

\ /

all the way slanted.

I particularly seem to notice this on long shots, umm take a look for example at the Williams/Ralf front on long shot on the back straight at Sepang - being trying to find a good photo for you - I have a video clip of it, can't seem to capture the shot you notice a difference with the car. The front wing also seems to be too steep and too curvy.

Here's the shot:

It almost starts to look like a narrowed down version of the Arrows A22? (2002 season) from the front on shot.

Just some ideas. Cheers. Great car btw.

@ V@sh : are you talking about the uprights? The front wing uprights?
If so, check the pic below, I think they are pretty good?

As always comments are welcome, if I don't agree with them I'll say ;)
Otherwise how can we make our work any better!

Thanks.
Steve.

@intweb

Well the front wing uprights are pretty good, as is the front wing itself, i just think theres a little too much curve in it. Its marginal I know, and I'm being nitpicky for e.g. I think the bottom of the middle front wing could be slightly less dipped. While the front wing uprights (fed-ex sponsor) in that pic with Webber@Melb and Heidfield@Sepang is almost dead straight.

What I was trying to point out was nose assembly from the driver (around the point where you can assemble/disassemble the nose nose) in the pic it slants in at the driver's monoque to about the width of heidfield's helmet (where the suspension arms join the monoque) and then slants out slightly again till the end of the nose cone. On your zmodeler shot, theres a slant but it just continues straight to the end of the nose cone with no break in angle of the slant. Do I make sense? lol

I think if those adjustments were made, it'll make the car even better. Its just my opinion of course, happy to give you comments. If I had webspace, I'd point out what I mean by circling pics.

I just emailed ya your comparison pic to show you what i mean.

the back wing aero part hanging off needs to be mapped so it is black, not white. Otherwise, great car!
Cant wait for Sepang version and all the rest you make!

Ah, I gotcha! I understand now! I've been reworking the front-wing and cannot come to a happy compromise!! But I'll work on it - thanks for the comments.

As for the nose (lengthways), it does kink in at the nose-cone connecting point.
