i've just been playing around with Iceman01's helmet textures, and as you may know, i slightly like Batman, so tried to add a few images to the helmet.

don't laugh too much





shame he has a huge zit on his left cheek

needs a lot of work obviously, but i think the basic idea is ok.

@Iceman01/Chris, sorry mate, the most i can do is cut and paste things from other images (as you can see from this poor attempt), i don't have the talent to paint from scratch, especially something like trying to do the chrome effect.

i'm sure one of the awesome painters here will be able to help you though.

hey guys,

this is my personal helmet, next year I will driver Formel BMW and I need a new helmet, bacause I can't use my old from karting.

Can you say what I can make better, I want a perfekt helmet. I give my helmet when the layout is finished to LuckyDesign.

Also, please help me!!!!

hey Alex, i like the metal effect, but i wouldn't use the Johhnie Walker visor strip unless you really have JW as a sponsor, it looks too much like a mclaren helmet then.

i like the general design though, looks a bit like Liuzzi/Fisi, but with different colours.

That arai wing sometimes (depending of your helmet layout) is disgusting. You have a white circle line on the top and it is messed up by these wings, sometimes it makes me think "damn it, maybe I should use the bell helmets without wings."

But its just the top view, from other views looks nice.

thanks, yes, the JW is not real there, it was just for testing in gp4, in reality I will get a strip with my website adress.

is someone willing to try it out.....hehe. Muks, i like it.......its different. lol. All i want is to the the white changed the chrome.

i think to make a chrome effect, you paint it light grey then play with the alpha layer to make it more shiny (or something like that).
