Ok, a bit late, but here come the screens for Bigbrother and Beostar :)

At the start of the session, the visor is clean

After a few mins it starts to become dirtyer

After a few laps it is quite dirty... And I've run out of fuel... If you continue drvinig it gets even more dirty.

If you press W, you tear off the visor and get clean visor again (but no refulling... ;))

Don't care about lap times or PO, I was driving with keyboard and with other 5 prgs running in bkg... ;)
I think this explains quite a bit how the new tweak works :)

Well this is the first time that i download a mod and use carsetmanager and i must say this is FANTASTIC work. Just in the cockpit i see that not all the letters are gone or is it a mistake with me ? In your screenshot i see everything is sorted well but i have letters in the steering wheel and not in the place that are there for, any ideas ?

Greetings Steven

I've managed to download it yesterday (started at 8 in the morning and by midnight it was finished ;)) and it looks great!
some small notes though.. i tried to remember it, but i can't check it where i am right now.
in the swap section of the 4 swap ini's you use twice file001= or something. simply change the numbers and all the menu files will be swapped correctly.
you try to swap the exe file but you used a space before "gp4.exe".
so you said something like "champcars.exe, gp4.exe" which should be "champcars.exe,gp4.exe"
so that one doesn't get swapped. i never used a space by accident thus i never noticed it could go wrong :P
it will work in the next version though, but you can fix it this way too.
last thing i saw was that the visors didn't swap.
reason is that you try to swap all directories in 1 line. so it tries to swap a directory which has no files in it but just folders.
so it doesn't swap it all.
you should swap it something like:
swapfolder001=gp4visors\visors,gp4tweak_data\visors
swapfolder002=gp4visors\visors\dirt,gp4tweak_data\visors\dirt
then it works :)
i'm wrong about the exact names (i know) but i think you know what i mean
now you just have something like
swapfolder001=gp4visors,gp4tweak_data
apart from that it is a really good looking mod, and it runs better (performance wise) than the previous version here :)
and the visor dirt thingy is amazing

looks good but 1 thing left ;)
File001= GP2001_Champcar.gps,MenuData\PC\GP2001\GP2001_English.gps
File001= GP2001_Champcar2.gps,MenuData\PC\GP2001\GP2001_Italiano.gps
is impossible
now it picks the first one it finds and ignores the other one

Ok, fixed. Same link as above! Thank you very much to all of you, especially to Zaz and Fongu :)
We started working on this MOD on August 2003... It's a long time, don't you think? ;)

you're welcome :)
and it's all good now.
i think i'll be enjoying this mod :D so thanks for that, and yes... it is a long time ;)
i didn't read the readme, so maybe you told it inside it, but if you didn't then maybe it's wise to tell that people who run the patched version of gp4 select the 1.02 config of the carset.
otherwise it is possible that it runs without tweaker. or you could alternatively include the tweakerpatch files in your mod.
but maybe you did and i never noticed it... that's also possible

It's impossible it runs without Tweaker, Tweaker works on both patched and unpatched versions ;)
Anyway, next time I'll specify that 1.02 is for patched version and 1.00 for unpatched version :)

Excellent work, Oggo. :)
I never see unbelievable mod like this.
Well, I'm not (yet) CART fan, but with this mod I will.

btw; Took hours to download is worth for this mod.

In reality, doesn't matter who's right but most important is who's left.
