The clue would make me think it's Bahrain, but it doesn't look like that...
Nope keep trying. It's non-F1

Hi there

It seems a nice track. Are you working based on a picture as this one Prblanco has showed?

Cheers

Just to ask. How do you move the starting position for the pit lane?

Try rotate and displace function

Each sector a time

Ok thanks also does anyone know how to join the last piece of track to the first. I know it sounds a stupid question but it is my first time.

It´s not stupid
It really demands some practice

I try to take notes at last track sector built, so I can refine curve angles till last straight combines precisely with s/f line.

There is no specific command, just try to make the final sectors as close to the start as possible. Last track sector must overlap the first a little bit, use displace and rotate if needed.

But remember:

Once you try Displace or Rotate as PrBlanco said, do never Equalize sector centers. This will causer some trouble when making elevations

Could anyone do the pit lane for me if they can. I cant get the hang of this displace and rotate thing. If you can help send me a pm with your msn address so I can send you the track as it is at the moment.

Actually still need this help.

And by the way it wont look exactly like Doha but I dont have the time to spend 6 months on it due to other priorities.

@ Xeltron245 .....building the dat file for gp4 tracks takes time & practice...
the new version of gp4 builder certainly helps, but there is a lot to learn...
the tried method is to start learning all the functions by building stuff & experimenting....i'd start with a basic fantasy track first...this will be less demanding as you set the limits etc....then when you have learned more take up this project again......

don't put pressure on your self from the start by building a real circuit as this is supposed to be fun also.....
