HELP loading tracks 1995 mod

I downloaded and installed the 1995 mod, 1995 trackpack and 1995 plus update.

When I start up the mod with the latest CSM everything is okay.
After selecting a random track in gp4, gp4 halts when loading the track.

Is this a known problem ?

I'm not sure what the problem is, but make sure that you select the track in CSM before you start the mod.

I reinstalled everything.
The tracks now load in gp4 but extremely slow.
It takes about 5 minutes to load the track.
With the other mods(1991, 2006,2007) I have no problems(loadtime +/- 25 seconds).

If that's just CSM, you can copy some of the code to CSM file and globalvars to load only the track you've selected.

Well just downloaded and installed the 1995Mod and am having the same issue
How do you fix it?

i.e copy what code to CSM file?...

In the .csm file, under the [TSM] section add:
LoadOnlyTrack =%loadtracks%,%tracknum%

In the Settings\globalvars.ini file, under the [Vars] section add:
loadtracks =

and at the end of the file add:
[loadtracks]
AllowChange =1
Name =Track loading method
VarCount =2
Var1 =blah
VarName1 =Only the current track
Var2 =1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17
VarName2 =Load all tracks in profile

Cheers b-tone done that but still takes ages to load the track.
I get to the track loading screen and it just sits there, then every minute or so the loading bar will move a little... Haven`t been able to see the mod yet!!!
Have no problems at all with DTM2005 mod or the 2006 Mod

even tried load the 1995 mod with 06 spec track with the same result, so am thinking some thing wrong with the car.wad maybe?

Its shame really, was looking forward to racing a 95 championship after i`ve finished the 06 champ

any other ideas?

Is it during loading when you see the loading screen?
For about 5% of the loading bar it loads something, then gets into the cars until about 50%. So team 1, team 2...etc. So if its slow during that 5-50% then its cars.
Once CSM is done and you're in the game menus take a look at the cars.wad to see the size.
Also try low res textures and see how fast it loads.

Sorry for the bump of an old thread, but I experienced this issue and it took me a few weeks to find the culprit causing the issue. I thought I'd post my solution in case this comes up again.

The problem is with the GPaedia in the documentation folder. If you delete the folder, the loading times return to normal.
