Control issues

Howdy fellas, I'll keep it simple, the game isn't reading my controller correctly, It doesn't read the triangle, □, ○ and X, the triggers are being read as the Z axis, for the record, its a official DS3 controller(I didn't think it'd work till I actually did it), it reads fine on other games, but not GP4 apparently,
So, anything I can do about it?

You should install a controller remapper and reassign the axis and buttons you want to use. Maybe the pressure sensitive buttons are why they aren't recognized as buttons.
As for triggers, they are analog, so it's not a surprise they're not buttons.
