These are the track layouts I have made:

Adelaide
Monterrey
Cleveland
Silverstone 1991
Silverstone 1990
Aida
Ultimate Track

I can make the track layouts but I have no idea how to even start a building on zmodeler. I have never downloaded 3ds max. What is it like?? I know it can make terrain.

This track is about the only track that is not in the 1991 MOD. This track has the 1991 configuration:

Faster Copse
1991 Stowe-Vale-Club complex
Abbey sweep
Daunting bridge
1991 complex and pit lane entrance

Feel free to edit the track but PM if you are working as I may change the track.

Indeed. Copse changed quite a bit in the 90s, but didn't change at all for about 20 years prior to that.

yeah, Copse was as it is now in the early 90ies, but was tightened in 1994 because of you-know-what and went back to its former glory in 1997.

That final complex has also changed more times in the last 20 years than Britney's medicine! ;)

New layout

Reprofiled Stowe-Vale-Club
Small changes in complex

I need help with the pitlane as I only made it so the track worked, banks and objects.

Complex changes:

1950-1972? Woodcoote Sweeper
1972?-1985 Woodcoote fast chicane
1987-1990 Woodcoote left right chicane
1991-1993 Bridge-Brooklands-Priory-Luttfield 1+2
1994-1996 Priory-Brooklands moved closer to bridge
1997-2008 Current layout

Actually, it was from the '73 race crash instigated by Scheckter the "fast" Woodcote chicane was added.

For 1994 Copse was tightened, as was Stowe, the Club entry was made wider, and the Abbey Chicane was added. Just so's you know. ;-)

I'm surprised you haven't just modified the default track, as the elevations are perfect on the default.

I used the GP2 track as it felt good in GP2. I need a texture that was used on the kerbs (red circle):

The GP2 track is (since it's the 1994 season) not necessarily the most accurate layout for 1991-1993, but I trust your judgement. As Greg said, your best bet for elevations is the GP4 track, since it's so accurate. (And it'd better be, it being the developer's home GP. :))

Those textures are great TTM!!!

A question about banking:

In GP1+2+3 the banking goes up to 255. What is that value in metres, feet??? I need to know otherwise I won't be able to bank Silverstone.

I also can't get the track profile really smooth. There is always a big bump where the gradient changes. I've been playing with Cosine and Linear and there seems to be no solution.

I've found that the maximum value for banking in GP3 (255) is in feet. I used Excel to work out metres. But now I cant get straight line banking:

I want the banking to follow the red lines but it seems to follow the sectors (because they're curved). Is there a way to join one banking with another with a straight fence???

As you've correctly noticed, the banking is based on its distance from the track edge. You must set distances sector by sector if you want something like that.

You must change the arm direction of the banks.
