Creating tracks from Google Maps

Hey everyone,
Am looking to create circuits from around where I live - which is quite a bit of flowy land in Ireland. Is it possible to import info from Google Maps into a track builder for GP4?

Dat building
What you can do is is use Google earth pictures and import it into GP4 with proper scaling.
Then you need to build your flat .dat based following the path from the image the track you want to create.
Finally you need to do is make the elevations of the .dat.

Its a very long and tedious job to do it properly.

After all that you start building the 3d.
This will requiere learning skills learning to model in Zmodeller 1.07b or other payed software like Adobe 3dsMax
