Essential Mods?

Hello, new here. I used to play this series back in the days of the original Grand Prix and Grand Prix 2.

Having managed to get the game up and running, are there any graphical mods that the community recommends? Also, is there any way in the graphics config file (which I'm using to run at 1920x1080) to reduce how much reflection the cars give off? On some tracks they have almost a mirror finish at times.

-94 and -96 mod. Turn off dynamic env.

For the dynamic environment stuff, should I just set the view distance to zero meters, or is disabling the envirment maps sufficient?

And for the -94 and -96 mods, are those the F1 1994 and 1996 mods listed in the download database?
