Upgrading GP4 original to 2018

I have just dusted off my old Windows XP PC after 10 years and am now trying to upgrade the 2018 Mod:v1.0.

Can any body point me to a tutorial or have the patience to give me a step by step guide on how to use Zaz GP4 tools etc.

I did get the files extracting, but in the game I went to load it, all I had listed on the right was cmu and F1 2018 Pt1. and there was no way to click on them to load.

Anybody know what I am doing wrong. Sorry for being a newbie all over again.

no idea what you mean with cmu and part 1 listed right :/
