MAIN MENU link problem

If in the main menu [GPAEDIA] is chosen before anything else, then after [RETURN TO GAME SCREENS] - under special cirumstances - all menu items other then [GPAEDIA] are now unacessable. Even [EXIT] does not work, but you can quit using the key combination CTRL+ALT+END from gpxpatch.
This seems to be caused by GpxPatch, because it only occurs, when you choose in the GpxPatch dialog:
[ ] Skip intro
[V] Skip startup menu
If you choose something before [GPAEDIA] then there also is no problem.
I looks as if the main menu is kind of initialized that way.

You probably never met this problem.

skip inter needs to be checked to not find the bug;)

Would love to see the original GP4 code to understand better.
I am sure that SDI will have some fun finding the logical reason. I tried going all the way back to ( inst-gpxpatch337a ) version of GPXPatch to see if the same bug exist and it does.

Good luck

Not exactly. This is sufficient but not necessary. If [Skip intro] is not checked then if [Skip startup menu] isn't checked also, the link problem does not occur either.
You may say "If [skip intro] is checked, the bug will not show up".
