2D Hardware accelerator

Hi guys

Quick question...

When I select 2D hardware accelerator on the sound menu, it doesn't seem to be saving cos when I exit the sound menu and go back in it, the 2D hardware accelerator option is unselected again.

How do I make it so it stays selected at all times?

Question perhaps useless: after selected, press "OK"?

yeh I do that, but when I go back into the menu the option for 2d hardware accelerator is unchecked again. If I select 2d hardware accel, shouldn't it stay on all the time?

I've the same problem!

I've since I have a new computer with Windows 10. Among other things, also it gave me problems to "croak" (sorry I do'nt know what to call it in English ...) in game with some soundpack.
I tried with "Alchemy" and related programs but no, the problem persists
