Can't see pit crew

Hi guys is there a reason why I can't see the pit crew when cars go into the pits to re-fuel and tyre change in spectator view? I can see them in cockpit view but not while I'm watching the race. I have pitcrew settings on hiighest. And I only noticed this happened when I downloaded 2005 track pack.

Ok I thought I had fixed it but not quite. When watching a race, I can't see the pit crew working on the car from a far distance (you can only see the car changing tyres but no pit crew). the pit crew can only be visible when in cockpit view or when the camera is close to the car.
Is there a setting on config that can fix this so I can see the pit from a far distance when watching the race?
