GP4 can't assign downshifts [Fanatec].

Reinstalled GP4 on my W7 PC and I must be doing something incorrect in the menu because I can assign upshifts but I can't seem to access the box below it to assign downshifts. Difficulty level is all assists off. Fanatec wheel and pedals were calibrated and I was able to select everything else, steering and pedals and upshifts.

I use the arrow buttons on the keyboard to go to gearshifts, then arrow right and select shift up with the mouse and get the drop down menu and can select a button from the next page. But then I can't get to the downshift box with mouse or arrow button. I must be missing something. (I am having deja vu from earlier install that this might have happened before)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
