Hi there, just a basic problem that I have that has bugged me for quite a while.

Basically, I've started up GP4 using GPxPatch 4.44, with a few customs tracks installed to GPxPatch on GPxTrack, the regular TV Overlays on GPxSAT and so on and so forth.

Problem is, when I've loaded the game up, pressing 'Start GPx', none of the GPxPatch features appear. No custom tracks, no TV overlays, Skymessages still there when I checked the box for them to disappear, everything.

I know that it is linked to the GP4 executable (the noCD patched one), I know that it has worked before on Windows 10, yet it doesn't show up. Nothing is even recorded in the log

And the real funny thing is that everything that I have changed in the game with GP4Tweaker and TeamEditor 3.5 actually works. Custom team names and performances are present, the '~' key shortcut works for GP4Tweaker, it's just that nothing is showing up on GPxPatch.

I have a hint it might have something to do with the save file on GP4 itself, because each time I boot up the game, GPxPatch or not, it keeps on asking me to calibrate my settings, something it normally only does on your first time booting the game onto your computer if I'm not wrong. Additionally, my previously saved games cannot be loaded, with the in game error message saying 'No Error'

So, help me. What's going on, and how do I fix it? A complete reinstall of the game may have to suffice, but if there's any way to avoid it, lemme know. Thanks.

So no log at all? Are you running in debug mode or not?

Yep, I am running it in debug mode.

Just checking all the log files again, only the gpxpload file seems to log anything, doesn't look anything out of the ordinary...

The rest of the logs, though, all appear to be set on 27-03-2017, the last time I played GP4 before this month (yeah, it's been a while). That seems to be the last time GPxPatch really worked.

Another thing, the Calibration settings don't show the usual thing (y'know, when they all cruise around Imola and all), the same 'No error' error message pops up like how I mentioned on my saved games.

Yeah...gonna need quite a bit of help on this issue...

So the log just stops after "Injection successful"? Can you set verbosity level to high?

Does the calibration issue also occur if you don't use debug mode?

Just a thought: is a virusscanner preventing GPxPatch to inject code into GP4?

Yep, the calibration issue also occurs regardless of debug mode. And also loading previous games up too.

As for the antivirus issue, it shouldn't be the case, given how I excluded the GPxPatch.exe, GP4.exe and the GP4 Tweaker exe file from my antivirus on my computer presently.

How did you install the game in win10 ?
Is there only one instance of GP4 installed on it ?
It looks like you are linking GPxPatch to another GP4.exe, or maybe no administrative rights given to it.

Did you try to move the Infogrames folder to another place? If I remember well, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 could not allow any change for an .exe included in a folder or subfolder Under C:\Program Files\etc... even with the Admin rights..
Could worth to try it....

I'm seriously still getting nothing hahahahah... be it moving to another folder, giving GP4.exe admin rights (hadn't thought of that), making sure it's just the one GP4.exe that it's working on, sounds odd to me.

I'll give it a day before doing a fresh reinstall of everything, see if it works out then.

It doesn't load gpxpdata\gxm\gpxpatch.gxm. I inject some code to load this DLL, but it isn't executed somehow. Have you enabled DEP? (https://www.zensoftware.co.uk/kb/Knowledgebase/Disabling-Windows-DEP-Data-Execution-Prevention)
