white tyre treads

after implementing a mod in the newly installed GP4 I discover at once white tyre treads.. how to get rid of them resp. turn them to black ("paint it black" - the rolling stones - one of my favourite songs ).

I just found out that the white treads only appear on cars that use the "wheel_mclaren_0"...

it occured for the first time after installing a fresh GP4...

So it happens in a fresh GP4? Or are you using a performance file with custom treads?

yes, I use a *.txt file where I define also the tyres to use - it always worked fine so far... ?

You mean it worked until you started with a fresh GP4? The .txt file probably refers to tread textures inside cars.wad that may not be there anymore.

well, I think that was it - I solved the problem creating a mclaren_tread_0_right_0 and so on, put it in the tyres-folder of the mod and it worked fine - thank you mate
