Yes, you can finally grab it on my site as usual.
It mainly fix the french error message and bring new "add objects" feature.

Here is the log:

v6.6
Can now create new objects
Fixed Bad normals after object rotation
Fixed 'erreur de vérification d'étendue' error messages
Search list can now be saved as .txt files.
Non textured objects do not become white after being selected

PS: The box object is not really usable for now because mapping is restricted to be the same map on all faces but i will work on this.

and the usual preview :)

Great work, Laurent. This tool will cost my mariage, but we will have better circuits.

hmm i can't work with it, the first few minutes it will do but then it flickers a bit and after a few seconds it stops flickering. then when i click somewhere in your program i hear the bleep like the bleep you hear when you have a confirm popup in your browser window and you click outside of it and i have to shut down the program with ctrl-alt-del..

i had the same problem with version 6.4

Working on the cc-line agian.
Last time i edited i came across a couple of numbers that cause GP4 to crash. I tryed to enter them in 6.6 and Gp4 accepts them. CC-line f*cked but it works. Untill now i dont' have ANY crashes working on the cc-line....

@Laurent, i was looking at that cc-line edit stuff but how can one edit this?
I mean the only thing you edit in the 3deditor is air, because you won't see the cc-line at all!

suggestion, can you make this visible in the 3deditor? If it would only be by a single line, would be enough i guess. It would become visible using the wireframe option!

WOW!

i just tried editing the cc i think (stored in the .dat and it is visible erwin)
ctd once but tried again and drove slower.

the leaders got round the new kink at indy no probs.

a few problems for the later cars

now for the fun bit as my car had some problems
first breaking

then flying high high high...

before plunging back to earth

into the earth

and under the earth

where i stayed spinning spasmodically.
but the cc cars followed the new cc line sort of \o/

well done Laurent!

i also moved a fence, and edited the col (and others) to try driving out of the tracks normal area (ie full indy oval) but couldnt get past the fence.

@Erwin:
Yes, I know you are modifying air because the blue segments are just the place where lies original cc-line segments, once you changed any segment, display is completely wrong.
Well, you can check your cc-line using Paul Hoad Track Editor in parallel for now, but of course i will display the cc-line. Anyhow, as you could see in PH Track Editor, cc-line don't respect the track layout, due to some bugs in PH approximations but also some unknown factors...

@NS and Forgotten Boy:
What's your Opengl driver version and manufacturer (given in 3DEditor in the About menu) ?
Do you notice any memory overload in the task manager just before the freeze ?

the memory usage always stays just under 20MB, when i do nothing the cpu usage is 0%, when i drag the circuit up down, left right etc the cpu usage doesn't rises above 20% (just only the track segments, there aren't any buildings or so loading, i still don't know how to ;p )

then when it happens the cpu usages goes to 85% and stays there untill it ends, then it goes back to 0% and i get the problem i explained above

the opengl stats are:

provided by: ATI technologies Inc.
rendered by: radeon 9700 pro x86/SS2.
version: 1.3.3803 WinXP Release.

Hmm, so it happens with .dat files, right ? at any time after having move the scene many times...
Did you try to open many files during your 3DEditor session ? Because there's a flaw in the open window i can't fix but that can be avoid.
Does it happened when doing something special (like clicking on a button or clicking in the left list) or really at anytime...
And a last thing : did it happened with 3DEditor 5.8 version or less ?

Well, i can imagine some trouble with ATI or Radeon technology, I know that OpenGL is not as well supported as NVidia cards (I have an NVidia) but normally I am not using any advanced OpenGL feature so it's just a supposition.

Just for information : Are you using P4 with hyperthreading on ?
