defpanel Position

Hi People, I was wondering if somebody could point me in the right direction. I am curretly playing the great 1996 mod and although I can see the defpanel in the t cam view along with the pitboards I cannot see them in cockpit view. As i drive in cockpit view all the time I would appreciate any help or guidance on what to change to get this to show in cockpit view. Hope that makes sense. Thank you for any help recieved.

The panel has an option to show it in cockpit view too. Press "Edit filter...", then select "Cockpit" under "Show in camera views".
