Hello everyone,

I am looking a purchasing either a Logitech G29 or Thrustmaster T150.
The first question I have is are either of these steering wheels
compatible with Grand Prix 4.

If so, then my second question is what are everybody's preference
between the 2 or is there a better steering wheel out there.
Please keep in mind that I will be using it on the Play Station 4 also.

Thanks for any help and advice anyone can give me.

I can only speak for the G29, which I also only tested for a couple of hours at a friend's and not with GP4. I assume, however, that either should be usable with GP4.

However, since you mention that you plan using it on both the PC and the PlayStation 4, I have another question. Will it be connected to a PlaySeat or at least a set location or do you plan to get it on and off all the time?

Cause the G-Series is known for its cable clutter and this is why I decided against it, back then.

I went for the Logitech Driving Force GT, simply because it's easily (dis)assembled. It's not quite in the quality range of the two mentioned wheels as far as the FFB is concerned, but I've never regretted the purchase. And the upside is that you can buy 2 of them for the price of one G29 or even T150. And it's definitely better than half as good ;-)

Can confirm the Driving Force GT does not work with the Playstation 4, but there is a slightly complicated option in GIMX (google it), which I can also confirm works just fine. It's only an option though, there is 5ms input lag, which I didn't notice, but then again, I'm playing on a computer monitor so the screen responce should also be smaller due to that.

PSN?

Whoa, I didn't know that. But yeah, a native support is definitely the better option in this case.

I'd go for a Thrustmaster T300. I have the TX (same but works with XB not PS) which I use on the PC and not only is it the best wheel (for it's price range, not inc. Fanatec which are silly money) but you can take the actual wheel off which is handy!

I don't have PSN but when I get F1 2016 I will probably purchase it then.
