Hi all,
Is there a way to use the GP4 folder path as a variable in CSM?

I'm currently working on the magic data (TSM) to match some physics options (I have four physics files to choose from), and was thinking the best way of working it would be as follows:

1) Have a folder called Magic Data and, inside of this folder, have a folder for each physics setup.
2) Inside of this folder, have the folder structure to match that of my TSM tracks:
    \Magic Data
    \Magic Data\Physics 1
    \Magic Data\Physics 1\RBM-Adelaide\default.tmd
    \Magic Data\Physics 1\RBM-Barcelona\default.tmd
    \..................
    \..................
    \Magic Data\Physics 2
    \Magic Data\Physics 2\RBM-Adelaide\default.tmd
    \Magic Data\Physics 2\RBM-Barcelona\default.tmd
    \..................
    \..................
Where each .tmd is crafted for the particular physics set.

3) Depending on the physics to be used, I (using the swap.ini) copy the contents of the appropriate folder - 'Physics 1', 'Physics 2' etc. - into the Tracks folder used by TSM, overwriting the .tmd files there with one to match the physics being used.

But, to do this, I need to be able to use the GP4 folder in the swap.ini

Cheers,
Doug.

Yep, here are the reserved variables you can use in CSM:

%CarsetPath% (returns the carsetpath)
%CurCarsetPath% (returns the carsetpath of the current mod)
%Gp4Path% (returns the path where Gp4 is installed)
%DataPath% (returns the data path of the mod)
%BackupPath% (returns the path where all temp backup files will be stored)
%SettingsPath% (returns the settings path of the mod)
%Gp4Exe% (returns the path and filename of the users gp4 exe file)
%CSMPath% (returns the path where CSM is installed)

Taken from this ridiculously detailed post courtesy of the CSM man himself.
