How does the weather system work? @SDI

Hi guys, I have a question.
I know the GP4 weather system is brilliant - but just how does it exactly work?
What i mean is how does GP4 calculate if it's going to, how hard, and when it will rain?

GpxPatch in GpxSet window - Session settings

Ramdom seed.

Yes, the weather is generated, based on a random number generator. But I've never investigated the exact algorithm.

Can you do that so its much easier to make a specific weather?
Yes, im aware its dificult.

thought so, but I am interested how the game acquires when and how heavy it's going to rain
