When I released the Larousse a friend said to me why you doesn't make the texture of the cockpit.

I decided to create a shape of cockpit which look like that of 1994 season.

It is the first outline, mirrors will be modified but here is the general form

PS : Sorry for my poor English !!! :(

Excellent!
Is anyone working on a retro wheel? I can do an external one if it's required.

looks good

but if there were a 1994 carset it would be better, and i don't think there is or anyone is doing one

it would be good in 95 textures though because i remember seeing a carset out somewhere for 95 season.

Your cockpit is really wonderful !

What I must say is that in 1994, the steering wheel was actually not viewable from outside the car (like it's the case nowdays when we see the hands of the driver in each curve...). I don't know if you sse what I mean ? (perhaps I should write it in french...)

Could you perhaps increase it ?

@Swooping Falcon : The cars is on the way, with Mckey415 and me, we have release : Benetton b194, Mclaren MP4/9, Larousse LH94, Ligier JS39B and Nemo have release the Williams FW16. And there isn't any cockpit for it :(

@Didigp4 : I see what do you want to say.

you missed out the ferrari duffer ;) they're all a real nice..... cept when i used your .car file it made the williams wheels a bit far forward :/ Cockpit looks good. Am trying to get all the helmets of 94 done in hi-res, but not entirely sure about the helmet shape, which one to use?

Normally you've got a prob on my MP4/9, B194 for the wheel. Because of the start, i used nemo's data for the wheel, but Mckey 415 has arrived and we use an another data. I think i go to re-bluild, the MP4/9 pour the wheel base, and i re-build all the Benetton B194, because it look very bad (it is my first car).

If you want the helmet shape of the 1994 season it look like that than 2001.

yeah i just need to know the sponsors on them that are a bit small to read, the livery's are fine, i can just import them from GP3 or 2 or whatever and redo them from there.

@Duffer

Nice try!

But, I have to talk to this :(

In 1994, there was no collar for a driver's safety. (You might remember, don't you?:)) So, the both side of your cockpit should be lower than that.

hiya guys, i've been making this wheel, it was originally intended for the benetton b194, but it's ended up looking pretty generic, if you want it for the mod or something, contact me by email/msn.

@coldblood: duffer has good reason to keep the high cockpit sides as the original tyre shapes only have half tyres from cockpit view.

@berger_fan and JustinZiarko:

both wheels are perfect, can you e-mail them to me?

about the cockpit shape - as i remember there was a special cockpit shape in 95 mod by ctdp, i think it's not differs too much from 94 ones, we can try use this one.

Yeah i've just took the CDTP 95 mod and added the 94 cars to it. Its a messy wad, which i'll start again when more stuff comes out, but it's ok with the cockpit and the right tyres
