Hello guys,I've got a question about this option on gpxpatch how really works?And an advice on my gpxpatch it's actually not active will be a bit more realistic if I will active it or not?thanks in advance

Alessio, enable it in gpxpatch! as when it´s activated, then gpxpatch/gp4, will use car/driver performances set on performance.txt file, it will be realistic then :)

Thanks for the answer Vesa,but will it be only for Horse power?I mean it will affect only the AI straight speed or will affect the car I'am driving as well?Or will affect the grip as well?thanks

It affects to everything, AI will also be affected. You and AI will have team/driver dependant power/grip.

Great,thanks a lot so if it's not ticked gpxpatch will not work with performance.txt files?Because when I changed the values on performance then in game i could see the difference,I don't know why it was off but from now it will be on,thanks again for your help mate :)

Not sure, I think it will work without it being activated, if in game you have selected to use 2001 performance levels...but as long as you now have it selected from gpxpatch, it will work like it should :)

If not activated, power/grip in performance file affects AI only, else both AI and player.

So Rene, just so I understand this correctly, if one does NOT check that Car Team Powered box any extra HP or performance numbers for the driver do not kick in?

I personally always you the Car power team dependent option. It's one of the few GPxPatch settings I use almost all the time. It's a bit surprising for me that in a game as realistic as this one, originally, you always had an OP (overpowered) car, unless you drove for the best team.

If it's not ticked, as a player you get a fixed power, no matter which car you choose.
