Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is the right place but i have a problem with GP4.
The game runs in slowmo most of the time for me.
How do i solve this problem?

Could it be possible, that your PC - especially your graphis card - just isn't good enough to display all frames in a fluent way?

You can check it the following way:
1. Open "C:\Program files\Infogrames\Grand Prix 4\gpxpdata\log"-folder.
2. Open the file, named "gpxlap.txt".
3. In this file all the laps you have ever driven are saved. There are lines like this one:
"End lap 0: car 11, racepos 20, time -:--.---, PO 26/95%, 0.0s slomo"

If it says something like "10.8s slomo" or anything else you can be sure, that your PC specs aren't goog enough for your current game settings. If so, we have to talk about your graphics-settings ;-).

If you are able to run Battlefield 4 fluently, GP4 really might be no problem ;-). Great to hear, that your issue disappeared. I hope it won't come back ;-).

Thanks that is very interesting info
although I knew my laptop is slow it was fun to look
at that

End lap 2: car 10, racepos 1, time 1:45.604, PO 84/440%, 30.4s slomo
:-) But then again that is the heavy version I use to see what I am missing

Usually I use the laptop version which is more like this
Still slow but better
End lap 1: car 3, racepos 19, time 2:11.005, PO 72/128%, 2.8s slomo

Which is why I am in the process of building a desktop

Thank you for pointing out that log though very interesting & amazing
what this sim can record
