GP4 - Black Screen on windows 8

Hello Guys

I´ve installed GP4 on my Dell laptop, but I get a black screen whenever I try to load the game. Is there any way to fix this issue??

Did you set compability mode to win xp sp3 and run as administrator? and always a first run with the normal gp4.exe and then run gpxpatch

Yes, I´ve tried both, but still get the black screen...

I had the same issue quite a while back.

Not too sure if you search for it, there is a lot of information in that topic that might help you.

I will check myself when I am back home

Thanks! I´ve tried many solutions and all I get is the black screen and then gp4 crashes...

Wasn't there any trick to delete the 'f1gstate.sav'-file in the main-folder?

What spec is your laptop?

Dell laptop? Hmmmm, what GPU does it have?
