What is the error, can you try turning off BCEdit?

It just says it detects an error and must shut down.

How do you turn off the BCEdit?

Can you take a picture of the error screen ? (Alt+Print Screen then paste in paint)

It sounds like a system error and not a program error.

Turning off BCEdit can sometimes resolve installation problems. Look here.

If turning off BCEdit doesn't solve your problem: 2 things to try:

1- Set GPI Browser into Windows XP or Windows 98 compatibility mode.

2- This problem occurs one time for me. To fix it, I have deleted all the images from the Infogrames/ Grand Prix 4/ MenuData/PC/GP2001/Images folder and replaced them by the original ones. Then, Launch GPIBrowser. It should work and you can replace the old pictures by new ones again.

Here you go. How's your Spanish?

I'm still trying to get the Caterham to appear in game & GPIBrowser to load.

esta no bueno :p
Well, I don't know, it could be one or the other. it could come from some custom gpi files (coming from a mod) given without the .gph file. If .gph file doesn't match the .gpi files, gpibrowser will raise an error (but usualy it has another error message).

I downloaded the game from GP4Central already patched. Maybe it doesn't have the original .gph file.

Any idea where I can get an original .gph file?

Maybe it doesn't have the original .gph file.
.

The GP4 Central version does contain the .gph file. It is in the \MenuData\PC\GP2001 folder.

Is it the original one?

The version on GP4 Central is completely original apart from:

1) The circuit .dat files have their magic data and gp4info added.
2) GPxPatch is added.
