I recently downloaded the SMD-ZG02 template, then incorportate zmodeler and gp4builder to get the design how I like it.

I installed all five of each car lods into the cars wad aswell as the carbon.tex as well as the new tex file I made for the car.

Can anyone explain why I might still be showing white parts or is it just that its too hi res for my graphic capability

Generally when you get a part of the car full white in game, it's because a texture is missing in your cars.wad or in the car folder of a CSM Mod.
With Zmodeler or others tools you can check easily how many and what are the textures you need for this particular car.

How would I go about obtaining missing textures if they were not there from when unzipping the template

smd-zg02 only needs the carbon.tex and smd-zg02.tex, both of them are included. I'd guess that either the texture is missing in your cars.wad, or that it has a wrong name.

what if you have replaced the smd-zg02 with the one you made and loaded into zmodeler.

Or does it specifically have to be that one.

Also is anyone familiar with the toro rosso template for gp4db

If you play on high graphic settings, you'll need hi_carbon.tex I think.

No. I have upped a hi_carbon.tex file to my files.

I converted the carbon tex files that came in the template folder and it has worked.

Can someone advise how to create a gp4 lod file, as I have a toro rosso template and it unzips without them
