Car Spawns Under Track

After installing the 2004 mod for GP4 I try and race on the Monaco track but the car spawns under the map. Also I have had several other problems such as there are different versions of the 2004 mod that you can select but once I try to race the game crashes. I can only use the lite version. Help would be appreciated
