Hi,

After some time, I have managed to get GP4 working on my Windows 8 laptop. The game runs very well (max settings, high FPS, low PO) but is extremely unstable. It freezes every 10 minutes or so, and I have to exit to the desktop.

The GpxPatch log is the same each time. Does anybody know what might be causing this?

Have you tried it?

Go to the X large Gpxpatch and with the right mouse button, select Properties after that compatibility and check the dates of: Run the program in compatibility mode and select Windows 95, then try to start the game with all safety quiet start

The above info is incorrect. Right click GP4.exe and set compatibility to XP SP2/3.
