Hi guys

I was wondering if you can help me I'm thinking about buying a gaming pc but don't really know what I would need just to make gp4 run smoothly and not crash as I currently run gp4 on my iMac but due reasons beyond my knowledge of tech it crashed every 15 to 20 mins

If you could recommend what I need I would be very grateful

Kind regards

Craig

My Notebook:

Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit
Intel Core I7-2630QM 2.00GHz
8GB RAM
AMD Radeon 6970M

Resolution 1920x1080
Graphics Settings maxed out!

It only lags and slows down at the beginning of a Race, so your PC has to be better than my Notebook.

I bought this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00C72IR5O/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Everything is relatively crash free and the Processor Occupancy is constantly below 80 running at 45 fps...just to be conservative.

The cheapest way to go is to build your own if you don't want a notebook. Choose your location, the PCPartPicker will check compatibility of parts chosen. I use a mini atx with a dual core 3.0ghz cpu, 4gb ram, 350w psu, Sapphire Radeon HD7770 on a 42" tv for my simulator. Low profile, slimline case. They are not that hard to put together. :-)
