Grand Prix 4 Modding on Mac

Hi guys,
Am getting Grand Prix 4 on my mac and I'm will be running it through wine. Ideally, a PC is recommended for modding games such as this but seeing as the game will run rather well(have rbr running on wine), I wanted to know if it would be possible to mod the game without using ZAZ Tools?

I think ZaZ Tools works in Wine, so no reason not to use it.

Intel NUC 8i3, 8GB RAM, MS Sidewinder Wheel

Tried installing ZaZ tools. There's some error with registry of the application. Other than that it installs just fine but isn't able to register. Hence, my question for a work around. I'll try and get the exact error to see if it can be resolved.
