Just a small and humble request.
Right before any of new trackmakers start working at .gp4 environment please send your dat file to me for elevations smoothing and a whole accuracing.
Feel free to keep my changes for your work or not.
I'm just very unhappy with some recent releases...
Graphically neat, but not as fun as it should be if dat file was better shaped.

Hope u understand my point. All I want is to help.

Please mail me at gildoorf @hotmail.com

Nice offer from you, gildoorf.

Would you consider doing a tutorial on your method for elevation smoothing to help other track makers?

Gildoorf asked me to put a message on this thread saying that if you want to send him a file please send the actual files rather than a link, as he doesn't have access to either webhosting sites or grandprixgames at the moment!

Thanks! If you do make any .dat changes, don't make any dramatic ones as I've already done some of the .gp4.... ;)

I know you said no file sharing sites, but a wad is not going to go through e-mail so here you are! [dl.dropboxusercontent.com] - it uses the flat .dat and I've overlayed the Google Maps image which I use.

One little issue that you can solve while you've got the file - crowd around some of the bends are not showing in game, could you fix this please? ;)

After that, feel free for aid request.
