GP4 Tweaker + ZaZ Tools

Hey Guys,

After getting my in mint state bought GP4 to work on my PC with Win7 back home. I found it was time to also try it at my Win8 laptop.

So after little work, I've gotten it to work, and decided to install ZaZ Tools for some mods. Sadly the stupid forced keyboard steering help, causes every car to be undrivable. So for that and the damage multiplier, I installed GP4 Tweaker again.

However sadly, it seems CSM and GP4 Tweaker do not function together. And the found solutions like OriginalEXECheck to =0 also did not work, because that line was not even in my Carset Manager.ini !

Also a long search for the reloaded version of GP4 Tweaker ended with a dead track....

Could anyone pretty PLEASE, help me out here? Would be highely appreciated!

Tweaker is built into CSM, so you don't need to install it separately.

Refer to the Data\Tweaker folder in the CSM mod.

Thanks TomMK!

I did find it, but can't figure out which .ini file to edit for more damage and no steering assist.

For example the 1991 mod.

Could you possibly also help me with this?

Damage is normally controlled by Settings\Damage.ini.

I don't know how to disable the steering assist sorry, I use a wheel!

Thanks TomMK!!

Atleast now I got some nice damages. That really helped me out a lot!

Now I need to figure out a way to get this KB help off. But maybe for now I can drive with it, because it seems to be a bit better now with certain mods.

Although, I won't mind the GP4 Tweaker Reloaded if someone would be able to upload it. :)

I've never found a .ini in the Data\Tweaker folder which allows you to turn of the steering assist.

However you could use Tweaker to patch your GP4.exe, and then put the patched .exe in the Mod, e.g. in the folder Data\Files.
You then also have to edit the swap.ini in the Settings folder of the mod, and add the red line in the [Swapfiles] section:

[Swapfiles]
File1		=Tweaker\gp4tweak.bin,gp4tweak.bin
File2		=Tweaker\gp4tweak.dll,gp4tweak.dll
File3		=Tweaker\gp4tweak.ini,gp4tweak.ini
File4		=Files\gp4.exe,gp4.exe

Hi,

Thanks for the tip, but it does not work.

It than says in CSM, Checking TSM blablabla.... and then without loading the mod (so also not loading the swap gp4.exe), starts up GP4 with everything regular.

Any further tips on this issue?

Did you try it more than one time? I'm asking because I too had this problem a few times, that CSM loads the tracks but doesn't swap any files. Normally that happened only once, when I started the game again all files were swapped.
