Disable black flags in csm?

Hello,

I'm a returning simracer, haven't played GP4 in a while, so please forgive the noob question.
I'm trying to race the 2012 CSM mod, but the black flags drive me nuts. Is there any way to disable them? I tried doing so with GP4 Tweaker, but then CSM says my exe is bad.

My exe is also bad, CSM tells me. But I don't care and everything works nevertheless .

How do you mean exactly? I can't do anything with CSM once it tells me that the exe has been modified. All buttons are grayed out.

Yes, that's exactly the error I get. I click on ok and the error appears twice more. Then csm says "No clean exe found. Install a clean exe by running the patchdownloader etc." and all I can click on is the exit button.
I run GP4 1.02, CSM 1.26 and GP4 Tweaker 1.0.4.5 on Win 7 64.

That's crazy. I also have to click away 500 error messages, but on my computer it works fine.

Maybe someone else knows how to handle this error.

Maybe I'm using the tweaker wrong? I select the black flag option, click on "Custom", turn all options off and then click apply. Should I do anything else?

Well using GP4 tweaker will actually modify the gp4.exe, hence why you now can't start th mod in CSM, as all CSM mods require a fresh gp4.exe file.

Check GP4DB for a fresh gp4.exe file and that should fix the problem.

I'm not sure how you'd go about disabling the black flags though.

open the file csm.ini and scroll to the bottom. you'll find the lines

default values are 0 afaik. the first 2 will only hide the image of the black flag, the 3rd and 4th entry will disable the slowing down of the car if set to 1. the remaining entries refer to a simulated drive through penalty.

Huh... I thought I'd already done that, but it turns out I set them all to 0. It works now, THANK YOU!!!! :D

What does disable blinking/force retire do?

Sorry for the Push, also I'm not quite sure whether it's still needed. But I had the same problem and found something to make CSM work nontheless.
If you go to your install-dir of CSM and open the folder Settings, you'll find a file named "Carset Manager.ini". In it you will find the following line: OriginalEXECheck=1 . Change the "1" to "0" and you should be good to go.
I should note that I didn't try it yet, I'm going to do right now, will report back later.

So it's working as intended. Had one CTD but I think that was related to the mod I was running. Restarting GP4 after each session (only running qualy / race) to be safe each time. Damage value is working as well (funny scene: Brundle crashes into Suzuki (mod F1 1994) in Aida, causing Suzuki to lose every single wheel; after the end of the race pile-up because some cars were slowing down rapidly).
