How to get started all over again .. help please

Hi guys,

I used to play this game back in 09 and found it fun to try and update it as much as I can.

I have recently just purchased a far superior laptop from what I was used to using.

How can I get started from the beginning in updating this beloved game to the current 2013 spec for all cars, tracks and drivers etc.

Is there a forum on this site as in previous years where someone has built a step by step guide in how to update the game.

I am looking for things such as on screen displays, cars, tracks etc

Still yet to install the game but I am aware of the first few basics that you need to install

It is now much easier, there's a program called CSM, part of Zaz tools, which runs all-in-one mods

There are 2 separate 2013 mods which have just been released, which include cars, drivers, helmets, performance, etc.

There are a few 2013 tracks, but only the ones F1 has actually been to, obviously..! Your best option with regards to tracks is to use TSM, also included in Zaz tools, and use the 2012 trackpack, which includes all of the 2012 tracks in the correct order

So you can get all the current 2013 drivers and lineups on the 2012 tracks

Sounds pretty sweet

Once I have downloaded the file you sent in the link would I need anything else apare from gpx patch

As in where would I then find the cars etc

I am having a few problems installing GP4 on my laptop, my disc drive will not read the disc.

Any suggestions?

Not sure, if this includes the no-CD-exe or not. If not, download any no-CD-exe to avoid any CD-issues in future .

I am having several problems and issues and am struggling to find the answers.

I have the no cd.exe and gpxpatch and zaz gp tools (csm)

But none of them seem to work

I can not load the 2013 mod in csm and I keep getting an error when loading the app

And I can not get past the black screen when loading the game it just freezes

Please help!!
