Replay question

I was trying out the replay, and the manual says that an R will appear on-screen when it is active. So I pause the game 'P' and press 'R' and although my replay is set in the advanced graphics options to 4 minutes+ the replay is only 10 seconds or so and there is no R on-screen. What is happening here?

The R depends on the iconspage3.tex file in the \maps\resources\ folder of your track wad. Can't help with the duration though

Press the space bar to pause the game, the F5 key to fast reward, and again the space bar to watch the replay.

IMO the R icon was removed in the GPGSL mod so you won't have it.
