got a new pc with windows 7 64bit, after searching the forum for the 2d/3d sound fix (have realtek sound and using creative alchemy universal) everything is working fine except one annoying small problem with gp4.
That is I get the sound calibration screen every time gp4 starts. Just like to know if this something that everyone on win7 gets or is there anything i can do to bypass it or fix it.

Same here on W7 64, I just kept clicking Yes, to Calibrate. After awhile the message went away, not sure why.

if you ave an f1gstate.bak in your main gp4 folder delete it and start gp4 again. The second thing is, you can try running windows in xp compatibiliy mod, maybe this fix the sound calibration problem

Does it happen only with GPxPatch debug mode on, or always?

GP4 asks for this when it detects that the sound device have changed.

Maybe there's some timing problem when starting up. When debugging the timing is slightly changed or something. With some people it only happens in debug mode.

Thanks Pont. Thought you are using a Creative card as this only happens to me when I use Alchemy to get EAX effects. However, it doen't really bother me. One click and all is fine ;-)
