GP4 1920 x 1080 not working

Hi,

I've got a radeon 5670 which runs this resolution easy, but when I change the f1graphics file, it won't work and goes back to 1280...any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Still didn't work

I chose to run it in a window to test whether it is using the f1graphics file, but it did not run in a window

Any ideas??

this resolution is supported by your monitor without problems (already checked)?

my PC has a radeon HD 5870 and syncmaster B2230, both support 1920x1080pxls smoothly, but not to force too much, I setup f1graphics.cfg to use a resolution that is below (1680x1050pxls)

You did enable it in the [RELEASE] part, not the [DEBUG] part?

Yes, no matter what I change, it doesn't seem to affect how GP4 is running.

Is it even using the f1graphics.cfg file? I changed it to a different resolution, but it just ran the usual 1280 one??

well, in my experience, GP4 can't run in higher resolution than your monitor has, or the resolution you have set in Windows..
