A new question about PO

right, so I managed to get my old PC running again, just replaced the old graphic card that wasn't working
with one from another PC. What I can remember, GP4 ran awesome with high graphics on this PC before
but Im getting some issues with PO that I did not have before While driving in T-cam the PO quickly runs between 50-200
while it works better with the TV cam.

My specs:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+ 2,88 GHz
2 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8600GT 256 MB Memory replaced by ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 Series 512MB Memory
OS Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit

What can I do to fix this? I use all the same settings I did use a year ago, nothing have changed

My first thought:
did you install your graphic driver ? (not the same GC, different brand)

and also :
I think you have to tweak some things in the Catalyst Control panel (Anti-aliasing,...)

yeah, I let the AMD auto detect program download the drivers through that.
I've tried some different stuff in Catalyst control center but no luck so far.

any tips on settings?

What I can see, this "new" graphic card is better than my old one so I wonder why it's not working as it did before

Because GP4 keeps your old graphical cards settings.
The best way to get it fully handle your graphical card is to completely reinstall GP4.
Else you can try to delele gconfig.txt, f1graphics.cfg and f1graphics.bak (place them in another folder in case you want to reuse them later) and the game will recreate them at next launch but it won't be as clean as a reinstall.

How big is the chance that it will be better if I reinstall the game? That's not something I want to do if there are other options.

Im trying some overclocking right now, and noticed improved performance. However, after about 2 and a half lap in quickrace with TV cam
the screen turns grey. Do you have any tips when it comes to overclocking?

my card have a GPU clock on 650 MHz and a Memory clock on 400 MHz
I can only increase to 700 on GPU but I can increase to 550 on Memory.
How much do you guys think I can increase this?

Did you recalibrate the game after changing the GC ? As said Laurent, the game still got your previous settings.
I'm not sure trying to tweak your GC as you said will help you so much.

I did a reinstall, but still got PO problems for some reason, and I can't get a hold of why that is
