Hi guise,

I intend to make an F1C track convertion to GP4, but I first need to make sure I can convert the 3D part. I have a .3ds file, made with 3D SimEd. So I open it in ZModeler 2.2.2 using the Import feature. And when it's time to Export, I don't have .gp4 in the extension options. So I googled "zmodeler gp4 plugin" and I found this (clicky linky). So I unpacked the archive into the Filters directory, with all the other .zmf files. I reopened ZM, but I still can't export as .gp4 :( Anyone knows if I need something else ? Or do it for me for that matter ? ;)

.........you press the yellow button EXPAND on 3D SimEd, you must select the option rFactor.mas or another diferent file game, and you select a file .mas in the game, so you have to choose a place to expand this file. You'll get the file .gmt and files .dds, You can then import the file. gmt with the program which I had sent (Zmodeler 2) and export it to a old z3d file......... (Y)

import the file into the ZM2, save (export) to the old format z3d, and open the file in ZM1 then export to the .gp4 format (Y)

You must first open a scene ore create a new scene before you can import a 3ds file.

Yeh a fellow GPGer (Fincent) was the master behind it :)

:E// link to the actual track location :) [goo.gl]

It's a fictional track in a real location, pretty wicked :)
