Hello girls ;)

I am TRYING to bring *.gp4 into Autodesk Maya 2012 in which doing ambient occlusion.

Is there anyone willing to give me some tips regarding that? (Tips of ambient occlusion in Maya would be great either :))

You can try to use zmodeler 1.07b open .gp4 and convert to .3ds ,then using maya import it :)

Yes that is the way. You will probably have to fix smoothing manually once in Maya.

With GP4Builder you can also export a gp4 file to 3ds.

Who knows :-)

You must enable 3ds plug-in first I think.

See Window->Settings/Preferences->Plug-in Manager

3dsimport.mll should be checked. If it is missing completely you are going to have to download Bonustools.
