2010 Tracks

Hi guys, I've been looking everywhere for 2010 tracks but I haven't found any.

Specifically, I'm looking for Montreal 2010 and a replacement for Magny-Cours. Since I don't use TSM, I need a track to replace the Magny-Cours files. I know Abu Dhabi and Singapore are available, but they replace other tracks (Malaysia and Montreal)

Can anybody help me out with this?

Once there appeared a massive black-hole and swallow up all the works of 2010 .
Just look at bahrain 2010. There are sadly just a very few people having that track.

So, there are not many 2010er tracks, and if so, they are most often only in private . Very sad.

EDIT: Just saw that I have Spa 2010, but I don't know where I got that track. Just google for it or contact the authors: drt01, SchueyFan . If you don't have sucess, write me a PM .

Does anybody know how to place any track (such as Singapore or Abu Dhabi) in the Magny-Cours slot? All I know is that it is not enough to rename the wad and circuit files.

You have to rename the tex files in the wad. Every single one..

No, it isn't. But M.R.'s answer seems to be a bit unprecisely!
Please do not start your work allready!

Please give me a minute to explain, how it works. That does not take long .

klausfeldmann's tutorial for moving a track into another slot:

1. Best is to copy your track into an own directory. Backup your files before starting work!

2. Open your track2001.wad with easywad by ZAZ. It should look like that:


3. Then go in your open .wad to maps/[track]2001 directory.

4. Now change the names of all files those include the name of the track - EXCEPT the .tex-files and the weather data!!!


5. After that it should look like this (I changed nurburgring to monza):


6. Now move one directory backwards and rename the folder called "[track]2001" to the track's slot you want to move it to. Here: monza2001 instead of nurburgring2001


7. After that close EasyWad and rename the .wad the same way!

8. At last, rename the curcuit file to "S1CTXX"! "S1CT" is fix. After that insert the slot number:
01 for melbourne
02 for sepang
03 for interlagos
04 for imola
05 for barcelona
06 for a1ring
07 for monaco
08 for montreal
09 for nurburgring
10 for magnycours
11 for silverstone
12 for hockenheim
13 for budapest
14 for spa
15 for monza
16 for indianapolis
17 for suzuka
--> So here I renamed it to S1CT15 instead of S1CT09.

Okay. Does the game crash, or does it load with the wrong textures?

- If it crashes, there has to be something wrong with the filenames. moving to magny cours all filenames have to be "magnycours" without a space between it. In general my method works, I just tried it.

- Then make followings:

Some tracks (singapore 2010, too) have a special link to a wad. You can see it in GP4Builder by great Lo2K. Get the GP4builder here:
1. Open the track file (here: S1CT08) and double click "track sectors"


2. Now mark the "initial sector" and click in the popup on "show GP4 Infos data". In the next Popup there is a section called "wad name". If there is an item in it, delet it!


3. click on Edit --> Save. After that the track might work in the new slot.

Yeah i think so because f1virtual releases much tracks in the coming month and hopefully bahrain2010 is one of them
