Performance AMD Phenom II X6

first excuse my english (google-translator)
i have a ASUS Crosshair IV Extreme - AMD Phenom II X6 - 8GB Corsair RAM - ASUS Nvidia GTX 560TI.
now when the race starts, i have a cpu-usage of 140-160 and it's not smooth. after the driver's field stretch the cpu-usage goes down to 80-90. but on some tracksectors its goes sup to 140 again.
i use "only lod0" but on machine like mine it should be no problems to be smooth or??
and thats all with the original cars. no car, mod, track is installed. a clean gp4 installation.
on this problem i do not come into the enjoyment of a hi-res quality mods!!!
can anybody help me??

In gpxpatch, do you use all processor cores? If so, choose only core 0, GP4 can't handle multiple cores.

i have tested it with CPU all, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. but allways the same problem.
for example: on sepang circuit. on the "start-finish straight" there is a heat-haze. before cpu usage is 100%.
if i have passed the heat-haze its only 60%. the same with the video-walls. before 90% after pass them 60%.
if i disabled this at graphics options, its not really better!!!

so long.

now, after a few of testing, the problem are still there with lower lods.
i test clean gp4, clean gp4 with gpxpatch, lower lods and "only lod0 in every variations.

My workstation is all AMD ... including certified motherboard

Phenom II X4 965BE, 8GB, and video controller is an ATI Radeon HD 5870. the CPU usage when starting races is about 20% (1600x1200pxls). I suggest you try the 10 LOD's 3D

you didn´t use only LOD´s 0 (zero - quote below) for everything, right? undo it ... overall performance will be better

if you set your gp4 to use only high lod's and highest textures will not be a simple f1graphics.cfg file that will up the situation
