Ok since I'm struggling with installing some new tracks that use different slots etc... can someone tell me...

How do you get a circuit to use a different .WAD? For example if two tracks I want to use both have montreal2001.wad in the package... how do I install both tracks! Obviously I have to tell one to use a different WAD name, and rename one of the WADS. How do I do this???

Thanks a lot :)

Open the wad
Find all montreal2001.xxx files (but not textures)
Rename them all to the desired wad name
Rename the wad

Thanks Math...

How will the circuit know to use the renamed WAD though? Or does the game just always use Melbourne2001.WAD for Slot 1 tracks, etc. regardless of the DAT?

yeh, you just need to associate the dat with the slot the wad is meant for

Yeah how do I do that Math? You mean if I want to use a track in Slot 1, it can be called any DAT but the track in slot 1 must always use Melborne2001.WAD?

Are you sure that's right my man? At the moment I am using Shanghai in slot 3 and it's using the A1 Ring WAD... works fine.
