Interested in a Screenshot Competition?

Hey guys!

I was thinking the other day about starting a GP4 Screenshot Competition, just for fun.
If enough ppl are interested, Im gonna consider starting one up.

Just to clear what I was thinking about in terms of rules.

*GP4 Shots Only.
*Entries can be posted between Monday-Friday
*Entry closes on friday night/saturday morning for voting. Everyone get's one vote each.
*The winner gets to choose a theme for the next week (example. World Champions, Overtaking etc.) First week the theme is free off choise.
*Edited shots are allowed (unless the theme is unedited), but screens with real backgrounds from real photos should give minus one vote. (Still considering this rule) Still, adding small things from real phots like steeringwheels etc. are allowed.

Maybe someone are interested in running this with me?

I love the idea and would follow the competition. I probably wouldn't post, because i am absolutely useless at editing screenshots, infact i am worse than useless, so unless it was an unedited theme, i wouldnt stand a chance . But if you get enough people to do it, its a nice idea!

Should there be a separate competition for Edited and Un-Edited screen-shots..?

Just to be fair to those who have no PS background or any editing tools.

More like the FIA GT Championship or Le Mans series... say, GT1 - Edited ; GT2 - Un-Edited... you know........

And the best one wins the Overall category... How about that !! I am with you Eric... We can make this happen...

Sounds interesting, I'm might get it a crack if it goes ahead but I doubt I'd be any good

fair enough about edited screenshots. Maybe editing screenshots could make you loose one of the votes you get.

This thing is gonna be for all. Not only guys that can edit screenshots. A good angle or something like that should weigh just as much.

Although, the rules are not final and first off all.. I need to know that ppl will post, so I don't waste my time

great idea, I think there has been screenshot competition before here at gpg or maybe not lol.Anyways I want to take a part because I post screenies here anyway so why not to take a part at the same time hehe I won't edit screens, I have absolutely no skills or time for that...
I play and enjoy gp4 with new cars and tracks and take a pictures from these great creations just as they are
I hope more people will take a part, I like to watch screenies, no matter if they are edited or not...I would like those people that say their screenies are not great etc. to post shots as well because the difference of the shots will make them special and great...and I want to see how does your gp4 look like after all these years it should not be the winning that matters but the fun taking a part to something that will show how good gp4 looks like.

If it's gonna be possible to post unedited screens, count me in.

Either that or someone will have to post light tutorial on subject.
Anyway I'm really looking forward seeing how this develop.
