i have downloaded two cars the latest minardi and jaguar


the minadi car will i change so it comes where the jaguar car is now
and i have this files to work with and i wander how do i change this so it comes to the jaguar

so TEAM ONE is FERRARI
TEAM TWO is McLAREN
etc

so if you want YOURTEAM to be TEAM FOUR then name it* after TEAM FOUR in 2001 (benetton)

*it being the .gp4 files you listed above.

So for Jaguar to Arrows rename the files below that have an * from jaguar to arrows.
and driver_19, 20 to 14,15 i guess.

because the drivers must follow the cars... If not, you would have the Arrows drivers in the Jaguars. Looks strange..

Steelbeat, try to update from original car.wad file. If you did it from previous updated wad, you'll might totally confused unless you know which parts was must be updated and which parts that must be revert to originals. I think this is a standard rule for car textures and shapes updating, since the authors will refer to original wad placements.

no it won't.
the shape is designed to look for certain tex's, so renaming thise textures will cause the shape not to find them, and you'll get white cars.

it is like that, if you want to change the order of cars just rename the cars_xx_carx_lod_x.gp4 file and the cp_x.tex file(for cockpit) to the cars slot you want it to. it is not needed to rename the other texture files.
